Vinny Munno’s electrifying music is an integral part of the overall charm of Goldcoast Ballroom. As the man behind the music, he sets the standard for disk jockeys not only here in South Florida but world wide. The melodies that we hear when we enter the room set our hearts racing and our feet moving. Vinny knows his audience and plays songs which excite and delight dancers of all levels and styles. In addition, Vinny directs the production of the Calendar and Schedule, and oversees business operations at Goldcoast Ballroom.  Vinny Munno, Co-Owner at Goldcoast Ballroom, Works his Music Magic as DJ At the age of eight, Vinny began his dancing career by training in ballet, jazz, and tap. At that time, he dreamed becoming a Broadway dancer. He continued to study ballet for eight years at the New Jersey Dance Theater Guild, and he paid his way by working as a maintenance man and front desk assistant. He graduated from the Dance Educators of America Teacher’s Training School in New York City. For six years he appeared in the New Jersey Dance Theater Guild’s production of “The Nutcracker”.  Vinny Munno – US American Rhythm & American Smooth Pro-Am Champion, at Ohio Star Ball Vinny hails from New Jersey. He grew up in a musical family and learned to play the organ at age five, and years later became a church organist. During his school years, he played baseball, soccer, and football and was exceptionally skilled in gymnastics. Vinny holds a degree in mortuary science and worked at Baird Case Funeral Home for two years. He began his banking career as a loan processor and spent the next eight as branch manager, where he developed finance skills that he now puts to practice in overseeing Goldcoast Ballroom’s business operations. Vinny Munno’s extraordinary business sense, dancing expertise, and musical background, combined with Jeff Sandler’s diverse experiences in the world of art, dance, and show business, were vital in planning and establishing Goldcoast Ballroom.
